Sigma 28mm/1.8 doesn't fit?

I have a K-r.

Scratching my head here. Ordered this lens used off of amazon-- popped up when searching for the sigma/pentax version. It does not fit on my camera. Before I contact the sell to return, let me just check. This thing should fit, right?

Well, not if you got a sigma mount - snap a picture of the mount and post for us to see...

If it is for Pentax, it should fit. The question is: is it for Pentax?

Can you post a photo of the lens mount?

I see it. it's a Sigma SA mount (or so it appears - doesn't it say on the box?). the mount itself is very similar to the K mount, I think I heard of someone make such a combination. either way the contacts are altogether different and I think they took that from Canon.

To the point - send it back

Yup, contacts are not in the right place at all. Definitely not a K series mount.

Careful with 47th St. they typically try the hard upsell and have had hidden charges in the past.

EDIT: Its an eBay sale, that should take care of the concerns about 47th St's tactics when you call or use their site.

Honestly, I have never has a problem with them, I purchase a crap load of stuff from them and B&H and never no problems from either of the two - I could just be lucky though...
