smc pentax f 100mm f2.8 macro AF

Just wondering before I buy have seen one for sale and have heard these are very rare and amazing lenses. Is this compatable with a k-r I no the mounts are the same but is the lens compatable with the k-rs sensor (sorry for dumb questions) just checking does anyone have or had one of these and are they as good as everyone makes out? Or is there a better one around

This lens is fully compatible with the K-r, and it's got the same optical formula as the FA and D-FA versions, so yes, you'll get good IQ

All the iterations of the Pentax 100mm f./2.8 macro lens are great. Don't even hesitate. They're work perfectly with your K-r.

I have one that I pair with my F50 1.7 for outdoor portraits. Great lens, fast AF when focus limiter is on. Buy it!
