If you add it to your cart it's $299 .
They won't ship it, so this might be a local promotion only in Silicon valley.
The Fry's system is updating right now so I cannot check inventory. I suspect there isn't a lot.
It does say the sale includes some open boxes and demo units.

They also have red single lens kit for $299 .

i added it to cart, it really is 299, but you have to do it through in-store pickup. too bad i dont have a spare $300 lying around...

Edit: Ah, looks like it's only for the two-lens kit. If you get a regular black or red one it's $529, lol.

At this price I think I am going to pick one up. If I wake up early enough tomorrow morning to grab one.
I don't need the lenses and these can probably be sold for more than half the cost of the kit ...

I have a frys not far from me, i won't have time tomorrow, maybe ill call on saturday and see if they have any left.

and who knows, maybe ill see them marking down the k5 to $500 while im there?

I got my K-r at Frys last summer. They also match Internet pricing. I have bought 2 cameras from them so far and they matched the lowest on-line store price for me.
And they do have some really great weekly specials. I also got a great deal on a tripod there.

That price is nuts! If I had one of those shops near me, I'd buy one as a backup body at that price. Damn. A nice, shiny red one...

All of the stores near me say zero available, and you can only do store pickup. I also checked San Jose, CA and vicinity and zero as well. I wonder where they have any.
