built-in flash plus remote flash adapter

While I think I have my off-camera flash solution with the addition of the Seagull SYK-5 optical slave, I would still like to know if anyone has found an inexpensive hotshoe adapter that is small enough to still allow the K-r's built-in flash to be in the raised position?
