I learned to shoot manual while a teenager. Was so excited to get an automatic setting camera later. In the past couple of years my job has required me to relearn manual again. I only use auto when taking casual photos, everything else is manual. A great book on manual shooting at night is "Advance Crime Scene Photgraphy" by Chris Duncan. Your photo's look good, The cookies made my blood sugar go up somehow.
Thank you; I had laid the camera down after Christmas and got busy doing everything else but photography. Sometimes I go back and forth between shooting and post-processing, each of which can be time-consuming.
I find that nowadays, I must force myself to get to the camera, and yet there is still so much to learn. It would be great to post more pictures. Working on that.
