Solution for kr tungsten light autofocus problem

This was posted in the other forum, but quickly died. Does anyone know more about this? If there is truely a solution, I would think it would be idely known by now.

Dear All,
Firstly please let me thank you all for your cooperation on my subject.
I really confused what should I do? finally I called to Pentax company in Japan. When I described my K-r's problem, the technician asked me my e-mail address and after about 3 days he sent me a solution which it works completely. I tested it for several times in different low light conditions and my problem completely disappear. Since this method helped me, I decided to share it with others to help them if they have the same problem like me.

Seems like a factory reset, and i saw that in a dpreview post as well. The poster said it solved his problem.
Since i don't have my K-r anymore i can't test. Others might help more.
