I think the title of this thread has become somewhat misleading - there's no way the pictures on these last pages can be described as bad quality.
Thanks, I guess I have thought about changing the title, too, and will do that.

Hey! A little update! I have added the originals, too.

If EXIF is needed, I will add that. But I wanna know how can I add EXIF data so that I don't have to like paste the info all here, so that I would have to scroll like forever to get to the bottom of the post? I was reading this thread, where someone had EXIF data above the pic with a link. Like, I hovered over the text and the data just opened in a drop-down-menu-like thing...

While I can't really answer your question, I must say that your pictures are always a pleasure to see, and they continue to get better and better.

~Whenever I upload, I just let the site take care of the exif; I don't copy and paste anything. Photos have exif embedded in them and many photo applications and/or programs can read/display the exif.

Bad image quality?

I agree, that you should start by using spot focusing.
Also, what color setting do you have in your camera, maybe you should set it for natural (if there is such a setting)
The colors in the trees appear to be oversaturated.
I also believe in sharpening every photo, even if just a bit, before printing or posting. Do you use the Pentax
software that came with the camera.
It's great that you ask for criticism so readily. Believe me, it's the only way to learn. And this is a great forum
for learning, that's for sure. You will keep improving with every outing. Regards, Freddy

Hey, these pictures are a nice improvement. Nice composition and cropping. Still see some over saturated color here and there.
I can see you love photography. Freddy

Hi! Thanks! The color setting (I think it's called "custom image", the only place I found "natural") I used to have on Bright... I set it to Natural, I hope I will soon find out if there is any difference or change that I really like. I have not thought about chinging that before, I think... I'm glad you like my work. I didn't really sharpen my photos earlier, I thought my camera will do all that... OBVIOUSLY excpected too much, haha. But now I've found some editing programs and I like to add more edited stuff to the photos. But I don't use the Pentax software.

Though right now, I am moving and I kinda don't have time to take photos, but soon enough I will have a vacation and well, that means only one thing. Photoshoots all day every day.

Nice work, looking back at your first pics, you have massively improved! Good job!

BTW I do like the subtle post processing you do and did to your photos

Thought I would post here, too, for a change

These are taken with the smc Pentax-DA 50mm F1.8 lens (still using my k-r, too ). I shot them using MF and no tripod.

I will post here the originals and exif info. Let me know what you think

I like the unedited versions of the photos, too. The edited ones for the most part do bring more of the images forward, but the lamp post image is washed out and purpled. You're getting a lot out of the Kr!

Your PP software should have the option to maintain (include) the EXIF of the original picture when saving the image. Too many pages for me to read what you actually use for PP. If you PP software has an option 'publish for web' or similar, don't use it till you've figured out what it does (it might strip the exif).

These are excellent shots from that Kr with you behind it. You're obviously working hard on your shooting. The only ones that bother me are the purple lampost shot and the crooked shot..
You've come a long way, Hollywood. Your dedication will pay off and with a fine camera like you have, the sky's the limit. Freddy
