New to the Kr

I bought the Kr recently and I am very pleased with it. One feature I have found by mistake is for the lenses. I bought a cheap manual focus lens that does not have the A setting on the apertures, when I placed it on the camera I got Fee in the Aperture window and could not use the lens. Once I looked up FEE in the operators manual I found. that I had the option to Allow or Not Allow the use of certain lenses. Once set to Allow I have found that I can use lots of lenses that are old and cheap to buy (like the 200mm to 500mm Tamron zoom for 80.00) and even though they are manual focus I have the added bonus of focus confirm on the camera. Just Brilliant.

In addition, be sure to follow these metering steps to ensure that your exposure is correct w/ manual lenses:

Same here. I am able to use the lenses I bought 30 years ago. Very nice.
One thing to remind you some old lenses has black anodized (non-conductive) adapter.
I got one like that and I have to sand off the black color paint so that the camera can detect there is a lens attached.
