Maybe! Looking like someone who wished their 50-200mm was slightly more telephoto..

I know that feeling with the 50-200mm, I managed to save and upgrade just in time for the day - that was it's first real test. Really impressed with it, worth saving up for.

The K-r with the DA 40mm XS is a wonderful, compact package.

New to & with a K-r

Hi All

Definitely NEW to a Pentax K-r even though have explored a little with the K10D & K20D this last year or so. Before that it was 4 Years again as a 'newbie" to explore Infrared cameras.

Was led to look for Cameras with the Sony Sensor especially in Pentax K -and found there were K-r K5 K-01 & K30. Thanks to a forum member got this K-r today. (Even though I may venture for a K-01 OR K30 at a later date.

Not being able to "Out of the Box" so to speak set the ISO below 400 just went out "ClickClickClick"

Took some AV but this one is via TV with Bright sunshine -12 Celsius and pointing towards the sun hidden a little by the trees on the right. In Sparwood B.C. of the Elk River at Matevic Road.

Cheers for years
Colin

Old World Wisconsin

My K-r has been broken for about a year or more now...looking through the pictures from it, I'd forgotten just how spoiled I was!

Anyways, these were taken at the July 4th special at Old World Wisconsin back in 2011, with my K-r.

Here are a couple of shots I took with my KR in Negril Jamaica in 2012 before handing it off to a family member.

Possibly my final K-r images to post as I'm moving up to the K5.

Taken today at Paignton Zoo in Devon, UK with the seldom used 50-200mm kit lens. I thought I'd give it another try, and it's better than I remembered.

I took the K-r out recently, with DA 40mm XS. Did some PP and cropping and got this shot
