Here's a new one on me. After taking a shot with my K-r and 18-55 with instant review switched off I can press the view button and see the shot. This is how I like it. When I take a shot with my Tamron 70-300 and the same settings and press the view button it doesn't show the shot. It does save it, but i have to switch off and on again to see it. If I set instant review to on it works normally. I've cleaned the contacts - always the first call with a K-R - but no improvement. Any ideas, anyone?

Relax, everyone; the problem has gone away. It occurred to me that I hadn't checked the firmware number; I found it was still on 1.0. A quick update to 1.15 and Robert's your mother's brother.
