I am selling my K-r body and both kit lenses. smc DAL 18-55mm and smc DAL 50- 200 mm

I have original box, instruction manual and Pentax strap along with 2 batteries and 2 travel chargers and AA battery adapter.

I was planning on selling it all together, but then started to question if I should sell the body and accessories by itself and the lenses separately.

I think the K-r would be great for young photo enthusiasts to learn with.

Any advice on selling and pricing would be great.

I would list all three items in the same listing in the marketplace and give people the option to buy all three as a kit or buy individually. You can probably make a little more selling them individually. As for pricing, check other marketplace listings for the same items, the lens database to see what people have paid and/or ended ebay auctions to see what they have sold for recently.

I sold my Kr with a kit lens and two cheap film era lenses. I agree it is still a great camera. You might get more selling individually however selling as a kit might mean you are not sitting with a lens you cannot sell.

My advice would be to sell as a kit; this is an excellent beginner's package. Bear in mind, too, that if you sell the 18-55 individually, the 50-200 and the camera together will not be as enticing or useful a package, whereas the opposite is not necessarily true; the camera with 18-55 only is probably more flexible and useful. So if you do want to separate, consider letting the 50-200 go separate if desired and keeping the 18-55 with the camera.
