PZ20 lens on K-r body

Grainy pics, should I upgrade to digital lens?

What lens? A good film era lens still makes great images. A poor one is still well, poor.

I and many others use a lot of film era lenses and they work great on digital, assuming they are in good shape.

Grainy pics are more often a result of high ISO rather than the lens. How much digital experience do you have?

I would have to agree that what you are seeing is a result of high iso and not the cause of the lens. I have all kinds of lenses from every decade starting with early Takamur lenses. None of them will cause “graininess” in the picture. When I had the K20d, I would see a grain I didn’t like when the iso would get high.

What lens are you referring to?
