Bought this on a lark for $25. Put it on a Takumar 135 f/2.5 and played around with it. I didn't expect much from that combination, but I'm pretty happy.

These are pretty much SOOC. Shot Raw, exported as jpeg. The dime is with the Opteka. The flower and the strawberry are first without the Opteka and then with it. The dogs are just with the Takumar, first without PP and then with just a little.

Is the lens stopped down much for the shots where the macro filter is mounted?

The lens is stopped down to (i think?) f/8 for all the shots. The exif doesn't record the aperture for this lens.
