Service-Manual Pentax K-r

For those who need it, here is the pdf-version of the
Pentax K-r service-manual.

Very useful also for the K30/50/500 as quite similar.

Thanks for posting, it looks very informative. It may even help me with a couple of Kx models I have. I guess I have some reading to do now.

Yeah. Great info. There is no such thing as too much camera info.

Mine also broke. Did you manage to fix it?
Just closing the door seems to hold it strong enough.

Did you mix up the thread with another one?
There is no connection to any post there, but could be you mean the batteryhook.
If so, not a good idea to have the door holding the battery! There is stress to the door and if it breaks, much more expensive.
The hook is the same one as in the K30/50 etc.

If you can't get that part, then fix the battery with something like a piece of felt or tape so it sticks in the compartment and doesn't push on the battery-door! You have to pull it out with some tweezers then but still a better solution.
