On the Trillium trail at the best time of year. Why? No mosquitoes! Taken at Bronte creek and Lambton woods, both in and around Toronto.

Nice shots JMR. We didn't make it to the mountains this spring and I have missed seeing the trilliums. Thanks for posting them.

Wow, what a beautiful looking area with all those trilliums! Out of your set I really like the second one with the vertical composition, it is a very beautiful scene!

Beautiful series. I really like the second one for the composition and the last one for the nice effect you created. Thanks for sharing!

Green and lush - I like the even lighting in these shots.

Thanks everyone. Everything moved so fast this year. It was hottest and dryest April in Toronto in the last 150 years.

Thanks Rense. As much as I like straight shots of trilliums and other natural subjects, it is gratifying to see that some experiments, with practice, can and do result in satisfying images, be they surreal, painterly or abstract. The 4th shot is, of course, ring around the rosy

Indeed the composition of #2 is really good, JMR. I really enjoy your impressionistic work too.
