It's blooming again! These are a little different from my efforts last year (some were done with a DA35mm as well)- will be messing with the poor plant all week...

The first photo is interesting. The three others are not clear about what the subject is, but your first one is really good for the composition and the sharpness.

Floating in Pink

I thought I'd post this experiment in this thread. Just for fun, I put the Pentax No. 1 Close-up lens on my 100mm set to f11 and got this. The DOF is amazingly small, LOL.

Interesting, and you named it aptly. Should be able to get real creative with that combo.

Thanks- I never really considered getting a close-up filter until you put yours up for sale. Focus and exposure are "tricky" with it mounted on the 100mm. BTW, putting it on a DA35mm Ltd was a wash, as closest focus seems to be behind the front element! Interesting, though, is the DA70mm with close-up...

1:1 macro is tricky already and I am not sure what ratio that combo would be.

I used it a couple times with my 77 limited and never did the math on that ratio either but it was fairly easy to work with. I will try to dig up a photo if I have one with that combo.

Regardless, its much about patience.
