Took a break from birding today and shot some girls rugby for the yearbook. Used a variety of lenses just for fun and because I had a number with me.

I've done some girls rugby here too. eg. Chainsawphotos photo gallery - 25 July 2009 - Norths Women v Eketahuna
It's good as they are slower than the guys!

I'd crop some of those a bit tighter though.

See the women's Rugby World Cup is about to start.

Nice shots. like Arpe said crop in to the action. Also move with the players on the sidelines (if allowed) and get some of the action coming right at you.
