I love jumping spiders! (Aelurillus v-isignitus)
Lens: Panagor 90mm F2.8 PMC auto macro + 48mm extension tubes Camera: K20D Photo Location: The Hague ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/180s Aperture: F19

We found this cute little critter during our vegetation mapping activities in the dunes near The Hague.
It was very fast, it jumped 10 cm at the time, measuring 2 or 3 mm it self, and that several times
without rest . Having the same colour as the surrounding vegetation and debris, it was very hard
to follow! But I like their eyes, so I had to make some photos of it.

The photos are crops, about 40-45% of the originals.....

You know I am not very fond of spiders, but I must say I agree that this spider is a cute little critter. The jumping was very funny!

I like that first picture

Thanks for commenting! Probably the reflection is absent because with my DIY macro diffuser, the light is coming from above, not from the front?
