You really nailed focus on that micro-DOF at f/8. Not sure how you convinced him to hold still so you could get a perfect perpendicular angle so the whole top is so sharp.

Thank you all for the comments, the new WR 100 macro works really well, and worth all the money it costs, the shot was done by hand held, the fly was very permissive, and allowed me to do 5 shots before flying away ...

I think flies are great to shoot, because they're not shy at all if you move quietly...
