My first spider macro
Posted By: hamidlmt, 07-29-2007, 11:08 PM

This tiny spider has been hanging out right next to our back door. Macro photography of these little guys is tough! I applaud those of you that keep getting excellent shots of the tiny creatures of our world.

This was shot with the K10D, Vivitar Series 1 105mm f/2.5 macro lens and the AF-540 flash fired wirelessly. Cropped a bit for composition.

Clean shot, well executed. The depth of field could be further improved with higher aperture number

Thanks. I have much to learn with spider/bug macros. It doesn't have nearly the sharpness I wanted and that I know the lens is capable of. I'll keep on playing.
