Well, I have not been over in Bill's yard for a few days and figured I would check it out last night. I went crazy and put the flash on a bracket to try and avoid some redeye and maybe experiment a little. Well, two owls were there but less then interested in me as they were last week. I only managed a few shots and then had to head in. I was trying to catch one in flight and maybe get a silouette shot. All shots with again the Pentax K10, Sigma 500 Super on a bracket with the Sigma 70-200.

Not really that great but it is what I could get.


In flight as close as I could get tonight.




I thought this was pretty funny actually.


All shotin RAW converted and tinkered with including crop, resize, sharpen and levels.

That last shot of the owl sitting on the eye is too funny. And good for you for trying to get an owl in flight shot. Now that would really be an achievement! You do have a pretty cool looking abstract as is now.
