Nature Butterfly's & Peep

Hi Everyone,

#1 Monarch Butterfly's, These insects have completed a trip of almost
2K miles, from Mexico to here. 3 or 4 more generations removed from these,
in about middle of October, their decendants will make the return trip south.

#2 Semi palmated Sandpiper. Migration is peeking in my area.

I like the colour in these photos, however, the composition is a little lacking. Try cropping both images so that the subjects are following the "rule of thirds." In other words, try to get them out of the centre of the frame, because I don't think it works here. I think if you cropped the pics, they'd be great.

Thanks BM, did crop bird about 60% ,glass isnt ED, shows a little flare
Monarchs full frame hyperfocal~min + af1.7, had to do a little
bobin 'n' weaven just to squeeze it all in with that 300
