The lens optical quality is outstanding. I never thought i could get anything sharper then my 50-135mm or use such a wide angle lens for portraits.

This shot is very good - I've never thought of using my DA 15 as a portrait lens; I'm glad you did.

Nice shot. I assume the flash was fired so I wonder how did the baby reacted to the flash as the camera must be real close with the DA15 on it...

I tried few times with the pop up flash on me and boy I was dazzle for few seconds.

I'd be a little worried using popup flash, It'll certainly blind the baby in addition to creating very bright spots and harsh shadows specially if the camera is close to the babies face. You need to use something to soften and diffuse the light evenly such an umbrella, softbox or large diffuser.

Thanks Sailor, You should definitely try it out. The Da 15mm is one of the sharpest lens around specially at f5.6 according to photozone where center sharpness exceeds the chart. Why not utilize the lens to it's fullest.
