Dead Bug
Lens: 16-45 Camera: K20D Photo Location: Alberta, Canada ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/150s Aperture: F6.7

Found it laying on the hood of the truck, all I had with me was the 16-45

Poor guy- but those are some pretty good shots! The dark blue shadow against the light blue hood works nicely Sharp, too!

Good grief Heinrich! The bug is 4" long maybe? I know my da16-45 can focus close but never imagined it providing that much magnification. Great DOF and sharpness...just great job all around. That first shot really has the detail.

Thank you Adam, for a grab shot with the 16-45 they're not bad. Would have been nice to have the 2.8 100mm macro handy but such is life.

Hi Lee and thank you. The bug is just regular size, 3/4 of an inch maybe. Closest focus distance and heavily cropped.

Wow, crazy sharp for what I'd imagine to be a heavy crop. Nicely done.
