Help me pick a portrait for contest
Lens: SMC A50 1.7 Camera: K200D

Need some help guys, im about to submit into a contest, and the theme is a "dynamic portrait" and this is the only details-
"portrait photo you have taken that really stands out. It's all in the eyes, people!"

And im stuck on deciding 1 of the following 4, please let me know what you think would be the best entry.

These are all of my 3yr old son.

I dont really do much portrait/people photography, only just my family stuff at parks etc...

I'd say 3, but you have to work a bit on the conversion. I would like to see the whites white, not some tone of grey..... Nice series BTW, well done! He's cute!

Number 1. The other's are nice, but the first one has a simplicity about it. My eyes are focused totally on his eyes. It makes me wonder what he is concerned about? There is nothing to distract my view and you caught a small catch lite in his eyes. The little lines on his jacket serve as leading lines! If 'it's all in the eyes' they have to be razor sharp and draw you in. Just my opinion. Great shots, keep shootin'!

I'm surprised #1 is so popular. I think the PP is way over the top. I voted for #2, though it is a bit too dark.

I'm voting for #3, but it needs +1 full stop of exposure IMHO and some more contrast.
