Two from the Easterrn Shore
Camera: K-7 Photo Location: Maryland

The osprey was nesting on the water near the maritime museum on Tilghman Island. The boats are at Kent Narrows just across the Bay Bridge.

And that is it for today. Amish country will come later.

Thanks Adam. He never left that spot the entire time we were watching. I so did want to try and catch him flying off. No luck.

The osprey is fabulous, Susan. I bet the osprey is guarding eggs or chicks. Would be interesting to see if any little heads appear in the coming weeks. And I agree with Jer on the boat shot. Nice to see wooden boats!

Thanks Jer and Tamia. We were just staying in the area for a few days so I will miss any chicks fledging from that nest. Would have been nice to see though.
