We spent Memorial Day morning at the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford Virginia. Bedford lost the largest number of soldiers per capita on D-Day than any other town or city in the United States. This is a view of the memorial display, it shows the Overlord Arch as seen from the granite landing craft with the beach and soldiers in front. The spray of water is an air fountain that simulates a bullet hitting the water. It is a beautiful and moving place. It was sad to see the small number of WWII veterans in attendance. A salute to these men & women who gave so much.

I like the visible reflection in the wall, but I think this shot would work better if you cropped off a little bit of the walls.

thanks for sharing this memorial composition.... i'd like to see it in even larger scale if possible..

And Adam, I did the crop and like it. Definitely draws you more into the picture.
