I just got back from a fantastically lit concert shoot.
My results are as follows.

The bands that played were as follows:
State These Lines
The Fight Between Frames
Amarna Reign

This was my first concert I've ever photographed, so C&C is very welcome.

BUT, I'd like to pat myself on the back. I think I did a very nice job
considering I used only my kit lens and no external flash.

Nah I'd say mostly we were all out trying to do some shooting on the weekend. I like the shots. Different perspective and quite raw looking. #5 is the best IMO

The first 4 are almost too well lit for concert shots. Did you use your built-in flash with the lens hood on for a couple? I think I can see its shadow.

The long shutter speed ones are good.

Very nice. But where are the shots of the drummers? We time keepers are so neglected.

I like the backlit photos, in particular the first. They really convey the atmosphere of concert, IMHO.

I like #5 & 6 - the disturbing green tint, tilted perspective and motion blur. Looks gritty and edgy which I really like.

We bassists are just as photographically neglected as drummers, heh.

The only thing I'd suggest is maybe try shooting at a wider aperture (if possible) to isolate the musicians from the backgrounds a bit more, especially in the first few photos.

Definitely a good set though. I wish all shows were lit that well!

I think #7 would benefit by the addition of, say, something like this, to the centre to provide a focal point:

the bands are posted at the bottom of the pictures.

the first two shots are of a local band called "State These Lines".

The rest are of The Fight Between Frames (Tennessee) and Amarna Reign (Indianapolis).
