I understand. It kind of hurts when your efforts are not recognized by your peers.

It's hard to please everyone; but who said you had to? If you like it that's all that matters.

BTW, it is a damn fine picture of a dogs paw. Probably the best I have ever seen. Actually I never imagined that dogs paws are that photogenic and you have proven me wrong.

I like photographs of what some might consider 'odd-ball'. Don't give up - keep 'em coming!

I dont like the non-standard aspect ratio, seems closer to square. Composition is not that interesting either... not that its impossible to create an interesting image of dog paws, but this just isnt it.

In that case, could you possibly suggest something that would make it more interesting?

I think this is a technically excellent capture of a dog's paw, but the subject doesn't do anything for me personally.

I didnt have any suggestions, thats why I didnt post anything in the first place. but since you wondered why noone posted anything I decided to post my comments.

Basically the way to improve it is not technical, its about a different composition and thats harder to suggest than pointing out technical errors.
