Fantastic details, but I'm not sure about the composition. Perhaps a tighter crop would have been better.

What film did you shoot on and how did you scan this? The colours are off.

I agree, it would be nicer as a tighter crop, but wanted to use the full frame for the first scans.

The colours look fine to me. I shot on Fuji Vericolor 160 and scanned on an Imacon FlexTight.

Hi Dubesor, both Adam and mischivo are right IMO.
This image lacks a clear subject, and the central point of focus takes away from the impact of the shot.
Highlights are blown within the water droplets and the colours seem to be skewed towards the cooler end of the temperature scale.
Most importantly are the basic elements of composition, which this image doesn't excel in. Find a more interesting way to capture your intended subject, with a unique perspective and lighting effect that enhances its look.
