Thank you.

Things are ok in Ohio. The economy has definitely affected as, and we can definitely benefit with a boost there. Manufacturing jobs leaving us has been bad for us for a while now, and the slump in the economy was a double whammy. But, most are doing ok.

The weather is nice now, the winter wasn't too bad. Spring was very short, but enjoying the nice 80ish weather now.

Overall, I am doing fine and Ohio is doing ok!

Thanks for asking. How about you?

Good to see you posting again. I don't blame you for withdrawing the sale. Looks good at 2.8 and as you already know it takes a little time to get used to handling a lens like that.
Take care!

I hangin' in there, buddy, and still in love with the Boxster.

We lived in Granville for a few years in the late '70's, and my younger daughter did her Ph.D. (Class of 2009) at Ohio State - so we know Columbus and mid-Ohio pretty well. Columbus has become a very attractive city - far different than when we lived in Ohio. Also, I was stunned by how much the Air Force Museum in Dayton has expanded; it was always amazing - now it's terrific beyond words.

We'll be back in the Fall - my daughter is returning (she lives in CA now) to get married in the Hocking Hills area.

Took a break from photography over the winter. Don't like to get out in the cold .

Yeah! the lens is a fine lens. I know I wouldn't use it much though, but it is such a pretty lens, I want to keep it and enjoy it a bit more. I can always sell it later if I wanted to.

Any of the 300/2.8 like the ones you are looking for or even that A*400/2.8 would better suit my needs. But, for now AI want to keep the lens.

Heading to Yellowstone in July, and would post more images after that.

Jer,

I remember you mentioning your daugthers wedding at Hocking Hills,

Here is an image I took on a good day at Hocking hills, it's in the PPG agllery. It's an HDR with hyper saturation, so doesn't totally reflect reality, but still a very pretty place.

This was taken there as well

It is impossible not to love that Boxter ...I am finally back to tracking my Porsche, and loving it.

Good to hear from you again, all the best!
