I like the idea - rain drop shots can lead to some cool results.
However IMHO the image is a bit noisy - was this a heavily cropped image?

Yes it's cropped as most photos of rain drops are and because the day was overcast as well that would account for the noise but having said that I don't think the noise is that bad that it detracts to much from the subject. Thanks for your comments.
