Red Spider Mite
Lens: Double Reverse lens Camera: K-x Photo Location: SE Wales, Abergavenny

im having trouble getting the entire subject in focus using this technique, will a certain aperture setting help?




here's an idea of scale




the two lenses im using are:

cosina 28mm Prime 2.8

SMC pentax -M 1.7 50mm (this attached to camera body, 28mm is reversed)

below shows them separately and in the reverse configuration.





any tips would be great.

The DOF is tiny at this close range, so you just have to make sure you're so close that DOF isn't an issue. I don't think it would hurt to stop down as much as possible, though.
