Playing with new lenses - 40mm and 70-300mm (dialup warning)

Mix of shots from my two new lenses I picked up today:

Pentax 40mm 1:2.8
Sigma 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 APO DG

I'll see if I can recall which lens took which shot...

All pics have been resized in PS and are hosted in my own gallery...which has image size limits in place...

70-300 - on Macro, hand held - not optimal by any means

40mm

70-300 - on Macro, cropped the image to remove some back ground clutter

Nothing too hot for my first evening with the new glass, but I can see the real quality in these lenses. They're keepers, for sure.

I need a freakin' tripod now...LOL

I can see 'em Love #3 and #4. Tis getting to be the end of summer time in the western hemisphere anyway lots of people on holidays ...
