Beautiful! I love how the purple and golden brown colors contrast so well in your shot.

Great job getting so much in sharp focus with such a slim DOF at f11.

Thank you. The head area seemed the most interesting, I cropped it to be the focal point. Not much of a crop though, the Tammy goes 1:1 which is pretty nice.

I enjoyed the overall color combo here, not until you mentioned it did I take notice of the purple/gold combo on the wings - enjoying it even more , thanks.

Took a bunch of shots, and this turned out the best. The guy was moving around and rotating a lot and most of the time showing his rear to me, at least this guy didn't fly away before I could get even remotely close - I don't do much macro's but it is very hard in the wild.

I used the sigma ring flash on this.

Thank you very much. I haven't used it much, I bought the tammy as I had seen exquisite shots taken with it, I am still very much learning to do these types of shots.

I used the ring flash on this. It was taken at 1 pm under extremely bright sunlight right over the head. Most may have thought I am nuts using the flash at that time

Thank you for the compliments.
