A little thin on the DoF, but these are not easy to capture well.

I missed this post earlier, very nice shots. Some great macro here.

But so you'll know, for future reference, these are damselflies. Or I think all are, a coupe arre hard to tell but I think all are damselflies. The easiest way to tell, dragonflies hold their wings straight out or at a downward angle when at rest, damselflies fold their wings up over their backs usually, and sometimes open them briefly. Damselflies also have long very slim abdomens, dragonfly abdomens are thicker and usually more visibly segmented. I didn't know this myself until just recently when I got a good field ID book.

You are absolutely right, its my mistake. In my country dragonflies and damselflies have the same name.

OK, I didn't know that. I noticed mostly by the shape of the heads, but it's too hard to describe, so I noted other differences. Both have entirely different heads and eye configurations too...
