A Cat and A Water Spray
Lens: 50-200mm kit lens Camera: KX Photo Location: Singapore

I took this pics at 200mm f5.6 kit lens at marina square. i didnt expect it to look so pretty, at least to my eye.

here's what the spray look like for those who don't know what is it

A very sweet cat that look angry on photo but it's actually not!
It meowed at me and tried to rub its body on me but i stayed away from it becoz i wanted to shoot this cute cat

I love that water spray photo -- color, composition, bokeh. The cat looks as if he's plotting evil!

The drops look very nice, I like the way the ones in the bokeh are collateral on the ones in front.
The cat doesn't look very friendly, hope he didn't put his claws in you.

I thought "Wow, this will be cool" as I envisioned an image of a cat trying to avoid being sprayed with water... Imagine my disappointment...

Love the cat, BTW...

Cats are always plotting evil.

I'd really like to know what your setup was for the water spray photo, as far as lighting/strobe/etc.

There was no flash. Just handheld n shoot.

it's a very interesting image. I would have thought you'd have to do some serious manipulation with the light to get it to work. Looks like a very, very high (4000 or maybe 6000) shutter speed.

That water spray is really neat!!!!! I love that! The cat reminds me of the look my son's cat gets on his face when he is waiting to be fed. I call it the "feed me now or I will open the refrigerator and get it myself" look.

the cat is really sharp and nicely shaded away - did you use a flash?

Love the cat ,maybe try a crop top and bottom would give puss a more sinister look TFS
