Morning Mist
Lens: Pentax D FA Macro 100mm F2.8 WR Camera: Pentax K-7 ISO: 100
Posted By: Nitrok, 06-24-2010, 10:57 AM

Forced myself this morning to wake up @ 3am before the sunrise.
I headed for the local river called Kings River. As soon as the sun rose, thick mist/steam started to pour up from the river. The temperature at night before was almost under 0°C (and it's summer!).

Very nice - but I'd like to see more 'reference points' for the eye, such as the river itself, trees etc. When my internet connection is firing on more than one cylinder I'll check out your blog !

Thank you Frogfish. I just like sometimes the textures, shapes and the colors so there's not always that reference point in my photos.

Thank you Jan.
Guess I have to drag myself out more often so early.

Thank you Jim.
Didn't use any filters but turned wb slightly to warmer in Lightroom to make the mist really pop out

A yellow mist - gives the feeling of warmth. Nobody handles light like you do, Joni.
