Gorgeous countryside - I have often thought that fly-fishing should lend itself to excellent close-up portraits too.

We had a great time, around every corner is something new or different. There are a lot of opportunities for great photography. I'm still going through 1000+ shots, and I lost some with a bad memory card, still trying to rescue. With eight days you should have plenty of time to get around the park and find everything you want. It does take time detting around and it is getting more crowded now. We got there two weeks ago tomorrow, and Saturday and Sunday there was not much traffic, Monday morning it at least doubled, but it wasn't bad. Have fun!

Yes, nice shot - and I don't fish :-)

Planning 3 days in June/July next year, and the 3rd of July at Mount Rushmore with 35,000 other people. (They do the annual fireworks a day early - but not this year due to fear of fires from trees killed by the pine beetle).
