Round about the middle/end of August, these B*&&^%$ will be using their beaks to attack innocent cyclists. I'm trying to make friends with all the local magpies, but I'm not too sure about this one

This is why I want a good 200/300MM lens. My area is bird central, particularly during the winter. Lovely shots, all of them, but particularly the Magpie. I really enjoyed them.

Always have them hang around when I am mowing ... they jump in and get the grubs and worms when i have cut the grass down close ... usually early morning as well.

They fight for food with the Kookaburras in the side paddock.
