My first try at posting on this forum. I hope my pictures look as good here as they do on my own computer. All taken with the K-7.

#1 - better without the tourists .. or at least the back of them.
#2 is really nice and #3 has a lot of potential (I'd be more heavy-handed with the crop !) but .. come on ! An Olympus sign on a Pentax website

I agree not having the tourists in the picture; I was with three other people and did not have time to wait for the entrance to clear. Too many people going in and out of the doorway.

Sorry about the Olympus sign; just showing the full photo!

The night shot is very nice, and while the first would be better without the people, it's hard to eliminate tourists at tourist attractions. You just gotta do what you can. I can't see number 3, for some reason.

Nice job.

I read a technique where you do a long exposure and the people will blur out of the photo just leaving the building. Haven't tried it yet, but thought I would pass it on.

I don't really mind the people in the first shot, but I do wish it were more symmetrical. I also think the 3rd one could benefit from having some human element in it, but that's just me.

2nd one is excellent.

Your second one is very good. The exposure is perfect and the photo is very sharp.

No, nothing special; just a shot of a Beijing street corner. These are jpegs straight out of the camera with no PP. The only thing I did to any of them was to crop #3. Even though I wish the 15mm was a faster lens, I am very pleased with the night scenes.
