Nature Yellow Flowers on Green

Since moving to here, I've been struck by how many plants and flowers I'd never seen before。

These yellow flowers have been blooming for the past few weeks around here. Their shape and color reminds me a lot of the little buttercups from my childhood, but they're huge by comparison (about 2 inches across).

Does anyone know what they are?

I don't know what kind of flower that it, but I can say for sure that you've got some beautiful, dark colors in that shot! The contrasty background works very well with the yellow flowers, which are also exposed very well. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for that! It's kind nice to have a vote of confidence when you're just starting out. The bold yellow is what attracted me to them at first!

I'm really glad I got this shot because the next day, some storms came through and knocked most of the flowers off the bushes!
