But butterflies, Monarchs. And a sunrise.

And yesterday I walked down to the river after looking out my room window, the sky was pinkish. So I got these photos too.

I'm getting new eye glasses next week, so I should do better in focusing. And I can then tell that third shot is out of focus a bit. LOL

All really lovely shots PL. However one small comment ... personally I would prefer the focus to be on the butterfly in #1 rather than the flower, in #2 it kind of works better on the flower because of the perspective (which I really love - great angle). #3 is off a touch but still a lovely shot. Sure your new specs will make a big difference too !

See, that's why I need the new glasses. I thought the focus was on the butterfly in #1.

Right now, I've got the diopter set to shoot without glasses because the ones I have (glasses that is) are readers only, and do nothing to help with distance.

Thanks for comments, and compliment on the second shot. I liked that one especially too.

#1 : It looks like the flower is in perfect focus .... and just part of the butterfly too. However maybe it's me that needs new contact lenses

Great job, for sure, Mar. The butterflies are perfectly sharp and focused; I haven't been able to capture one at this level of quality (shaky old hands, I guess).

Frog, did you click to make it come closer to you? Because that flower is out of focus in #1.

Jer, thanks. Oh, I don't know about your statement, I've seen those butterflies of yours and they were good and quality was great too.

I have shaky hands most of the time, but that day my hands were steady. These, btw, were shot hand held.
