I was out and about in the early morning and shot this with HDR toning in mind.

The HDR effect is WAY too strong. Also the sky could be much bluer. I would like to see a version with a weaker HDR effect.

Yeah, I agree, the HDR is outta control. This kind of stuff is a plague on flickr, IMO.

Maybe this is suppose to be a surreal interpretation, guys. The "artists vision" and "poetic license". Granted, as a photograph it is over the top. But I can appreciate it as a surreal interpretation and digital art. And I suspect it is because of the colors used.

That's exactly what I saw Tuco - a piece of surreal art. On that level it's interesting.

Even if it is supposed to look "surreal" the glow from toning ruins it for me. I don't mind strong HDR if done right.

Maybe strong HDR done right makes it look like a photograph instead of a painting that it is? Just saying...
