I was lucky enough to be tipped by a friend of a friend ... of a friend about the sudden appearance of Eastern Bluebirds in our rather far-North-East region. As far as I know, that specific bird species has seldom, if ever, been spotted here. As a matter of fact, they were once considered almost extinct from some parts of eastern Canada. Granted, some of you may be lucky enough to have them in larger numbers, but, for us, this is a major event:

Nice Bluebird pics JP. It's nice getting a shot of a bird that isn't in your collection yet. It's been so hot here in the mid-atlantic I would have flown north too if I could.

You're totally out of luck thinking that flying North would have remedied the heat wave situation you've had: here too: Heat Wave .... BIG TIME!

With the humidex factored in, it's been awful hot, even here this far North and East!
