bugs with long lens
Lens: 18-250mm Camera: KX Photo Location: Cabin

So I have been testing lens to see if I REALLY need to buy a macro... mixed results... thoughts?

If you don't want an a new lens but want better macro, a simple clip-on Raynox 150 or 250 on the 18-250mm @ 250mm would give you a lot more magnification to work with for way less $$ than any macro lens you can find.

I went the cheap route and bought extension tubes. They've worked out pretty good so far and only cost $16 shipped. I already had a couple manual lenses to use with them...
Inexpensive way to test the waters...
