with flash - manual focus with approximate fixed focal length of 7 inches away from subject, find the focal length by placing the comera at different from the newpaper, to get the sharpest picture.... that's the difficult part of using a long lens, reversely mounted. you cannot see the subject. but if it turns out good, the effect is worth all the trials....

I really like the details and overall idea here, but I think it would have been better if we had been able to see all of the largest leaf, rather than having it cut off by the edge.
