Hand-held this photo of one of the falls on the river. Not sure if the branch in the foreground is a distraction or not. On the one hand, it gives a sense of scale (and I couldn't move it anyway from my precarious perch!). On the other, it's just there, sticking out from the side. Anyway, it's a dramatic falls, and I love the amber water.

I don't mind the branch (if anything, then maybe just the single leaf in the corner should go), but I do think that the muddy watter in the upper-left is a bit distracting. Nice shot overall, though- very smooth

Thanks for the comments, Adam. That's not muddy water, it's a natural tannin-stained hue this water has and which is visible in some lights or angles.

Here's a crop and modification, and also a B&W conversion, to try and reduce the presence of the channel at the far shore...

Both cropped versions are great to me, I like the near abstract nature of the images.
