My own wedding pictures
Posted By: devisor, 08-16-2007, 02:04 AM

some of our wedding pictures. Fun with wireless trigger.

We knew about this stairs that was just there in the landscape. And chose to use this as a element in our wedding pictures.

2x285hv for lightning, it was almost all black when we took the pictures. Had to wait to the youngest child fell asleep, before we went out for our photoshoot.

Very nice shots here. However the pics are a bit small for the viewing.

The firt shot is probably the best of all

Thank you for the beautifully done photos.

Even more, thank you for inspiring me to go hunt up a review on the 285HV flash. It is precisely what I need for use with my Takumar lenses. The Sigma flash I'm currently using can hit the auction block.

Very nice flash shots. Great overall coverage of the subjects. That's quite a flash, very natural looking. Thanks for showing. Freddy

Thanks for sharing Eric and congrats??? Not sure if I understood you correctly, you shot your OWN?

In any case, what was the setup with the flash - position wise.
Thanks

Very nicely done. Like Roentarre, it is alo my feeling that the first shot is the best of the lot. But they are all nice. I am especially impressed with your handling of the 'lighting' situation.

Yes.. I shoot my own wedding pictures..

camera on tripod..

right/behind camera flash set to M at 1/2 power (light stand was 2,5m up)
left/ @0,5m in front of us second flash set at M full power.
Reflector /white side, Right of us 1M in front to fill out the shadows.

and to trigger the camera I used a remote, manual focus and lock before we started to shoot.

Man I love those pictures, pro quality capture that speaks volume about your technique and composition. Somehow I really get attracted to #8 image, it looks really classic for me. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
