Great shot, Jim. How did you manage to get close enough without scaring the bird into flight?

Great shot Jimbo. I haven't seen a heron in ages in my part of the world. They were all over the place last summer.

i really like the drips of water on the tips of the reeds...that kind of detail makes it pop!
